Paul George is still in the hospital, recovering from a
successful operation, but his spirits were lifted by a visit from
undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In a post on his Instagram account, George wrote, “Appreciate the
champ @floydmayweather visiting me in the hospital.. Gave me some great
advice and kept my spirits high!! Appreciate you once again big bro!
#TBE #TMT”Mayweather Jr. is a frequent courtside seats viewer of NBA games, all the better for him to keep tabs on the huge bets he places. And while he’ll always be Public Enemy #1 in the eyes of Filipinos and Pacquiao fans, it’s a good gesture towards George.
George got injured during a Team USA scrimmage last week. NBA Commissioner recently released a statement about the incident.
