The Taguig Municipal Trial Court (MTC) Branch 74 has issued arrest warrants for Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo and five others involved in the mauling of actor-host Vhong Navarro. This was confirmed by Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila de Lima.

Last week, the DOJ junked the rape charge that Cornejo had filed against Navarro. It also found probable cause to charge the complainant Cornejo, Lee, as well as Lee's sister Bernice, Ferdinand Guerrero, Simeon "Zimmer" Raz, Jose Paolo "JP" Calma, and Jed Fernandez with serious illegal detention and grave coercion.

While a grave coercion case is bailable, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said it would at least prevent any attempted departure by any of the accused.

De Lima noted that they will need to post bail and secure court permission for them to be able to leave the Philippine jurisdiction.

It was earlier reported that a certain "Cedric Lee" booked a Cebu Pacific Flight 5J7944 bound for Dubai last on Saturday at 4:40 p.m. The booking for the flight made by "Cedric Lee" was cancelled at around 6:00 p.m. of Friday, Cebu Pacific told ABS-CBN News.

Guerrero, one of those accused, also attempted to leave the country on Monday morning.  He was told he could not leave the country due to a “look out order” from the DOJ. He then argued with officials but later decided to cancel his trip.
